Gabriel Daniel is the founder of IntelleTek Law Group, PLLC, and is based in the Firm's New York office. He focuses his practice on U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, client counseling, due diligence, and legal opinions. His prosecution and counseling experience involves a wide range of sciences, including electrical engineering, information systems, automotive technology, software, and business methods.
Gabriel is a registered patent attorney and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He has prepared and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications.
Engineering Experience:
Prior to entering the practice of law, Gabriel worked for over thirteen years at leading companies in the semiconductor industry, earning senior titles first in digital and later in analog design. He has expertise in digital, analog and mixed-signal IC design in CMOS, Bipolar and BiCMOS technology. He has authored and co-authored a dozen technical papers in the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, ISSCC Digest of Technical Papers and other engineering research journals. He has twenty-five inventions and patents in Digital, DRAM, and Analog Design.

Alexis Saenz

Alexis Saenz is a patent attorney with over a decade of IP experience. He has prepared hundreds of patent applications and responses to the USPTO. He focuses on providing cost-effective approaches with an emphasis on securing patents with discernible value.
A graduate of Loyola Law School of Los Angeles, Alexis Saenz has worked substantially with patent applications in the general software, computer, robotics, virtual/augmented reality, artificial intelligence, mechanical, optical, electrical, telecommunication, consumer products, and sports equipment fields. Some of the larger clients he has represented include IBM, Kyocera, Honeywell International, Inc., Lenovo, Mattel, UC Irvine, and TP Vision (an IP subsidiary of Koninklijke Philips N.V.).
Engineering Experience:
A former physics engineer, Alexis Saenz has also worked for the Raytheon Corporation, one of the largest defense firms in the nation. His technical experience includes working with electro-optics, (including semi-conductor materials, lasers, light sensors, light emitting diodes, etc.) weapons guidance systems, network switches, and micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS). Mick McCarthy is a seasoned patent attorney with more than 20 years of experience specializing in patent, copyright, trademark, and trade secret matters. He has prepared and prosecuted hundreds of patents, primarily in digital data storage and processing and in enterprise distributed data storage systems. He has also litigated many intellectual property disputes, primarily patent infringement and trade secret misappropriation cases. Mick's legal career spans in-house practice for a worldwide manufacturer of digital storage systems, as well as large-firm, boutique, and solo private practice. His fondest successes are client counseling involvements, including several contract chief IP counsel engagements. Michael Daniel is a chemist who is presently pursuing his Masters in Chemistry. He works as a technical advisor and illustrator at Intelletek Law Group, PLLC.
Technical Experience:
Michael is currently preforming research in finding new ways to use palladium-catalyzed cascade reactions to oxidize alkynes, create α-ketoesters, and create novel 5-endo-dig structures, under the supervision of Dr. Yu Chen, organic chemist and professor at Queens College. He leads research efforts in substrate-scope investigations of methoxy groups in cascade reactions. He conducts literature search and investigation on Palladium-Catalyzed Cascade reactions, Alkyne Oxidation reactions, α-Ketoester Synthesis, Green Polymer Chemistry, Photo-redox Reactions, and Iodine Catalysis. He performs TLC analysis and advanced machinery (such as 1H NMR) to perform qualitative/quantitative analysis on products. He is an expert in synthesis and purifying desired product(s) using methods such as column chromatography.
