Gabriel Daniel is the founder of IntelleTek Law Group, PLLC, and is based in the Firm's New York office. He focuses his practice on U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, client counseling, due diligence, and legal opinions. His prosecution and counseling experience involves a wide range of sciences, including electrical engineering, information systems, automotive technology, software, and business methods.

 

Gabriel is a registered patent attorney and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.  He has prepared and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications.

Engineering Experience:

 

Prior to entering the practice of law, Gabriel worked for over thirteen years at leading companies in the semiconductor industry, earning senior titles first in digital and later in analog design. He has expertise in digital, analog and mixed-signal IC design in CMOS, Bipolar and BiCMOS technology.  He has authored and co-authored a dozen technical papers in the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, ISSCC Digest of Technical Papers and other engineering research journals. He has twenty-five inventions and patents in Digital, DRAM, and Analog Design.

John Lin is an intellectual property attorney who specializes in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications.  He has drafted hundreds of patent applications in a wide range of sciences, including semiconductors, cable modems, networking, solar energy, video coding, software, and mobile device technologies.  He is also experienced in prosecuting patent applications in the U.S., Europe, China, Japan, Korea, and other jurisdictions.

Stephen Gigante has over 20 years of experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in a variety of electrical and electro-mechanical disciplines, including wireless communication,  storage devices, touchscreen displays, smartphone apps, LCDs and OLEDs,  microcontrollers, medical devices, smart-gun technology,  semiconductors, software, computer-related devices, and business method patents. 

 

Stephen has experience overseeing prosecution of patent family applications on behalf of U.S. clients filing abroad in jurisdictions including Canada, Japan, China, E.U., Taiwan, Australia, Israel, and has participated in Oral Proceedings at the EPO offices in Munich, Germany.

Stephen worked in the Field Engineering Division of IBM, where he focused on Large-system computers, storage devices, and associated telecommunication devices.

Alexis Saenz

Alexis Saenz is a patent attorney with over a decade of IP experience. He has prepared hundreds of patent applications and responses to the USPTO. He focuses on providing cost-effective approaches with an emphasis on securing patents with discernible value.

 

A graduate of Loyola Law School of Los Angeles, Alexis Saenz has worked substantially with patent applications in the general software, computer, robotics, virtual/augmented reality, artificial intelligence, mechanical, optical, electrical, telecommunication, consumer products, and sports equipment fields. Some of the larger clients he has represented include IBM, Kyocera, Honeywell International, Inc., Lenovo, Mattel, UC Irvine, and TP Vision (an IP subsidiary of Koninklijke Philips N.V.).

Engineering Experience:

A former physics engineer, Alexis Saenz has also worked for the Raytheon Corporation, one of the largest defense firms in the nation.  His technical experience includes working with electro-optics, (including semi-conductor materials, lasers, light sensors, light emitting diodes, etc.) weapons guidance systems, network switches, and micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS). His keen understanding of how things work lends itself to articulating the significance of inventive features to the USPTO.

Beau Horner

Beau Horner is a registered patent agent with a decade of experience in intellectual property. As well as drafting over one hundred patent applications as a patent agent, Beau has also worked as a patent analyst where he examined PCT applications and developed effective response strategies as a result of performing the examination process. Along with his patent searching experience, Beau provides his clients with strong patent drafting and prosecution skills to help clients obtain effective and powerful patents for their intellectual property.

Beau’s science and engineering experience includes fabricating lithium ion batteries, synthesizing polymers, and analyzing surface phenomena characteristics of textiles. Pablo Huerta is a registered patent attorney with more than a decade of experience in intellectual property. Pablo is a former patent examiner and leverages his deep understanding of the USPTO's inner workings to navigate and find solutions to various hurdles that arise during prosecution. He leverages a wealth of knowledge in patent prosecution and complex IP issues to help clients obtain robust patent protection for their innovations.

 

Pablo's experience includes preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications in the electrical and mechanical arts, including telecommunications systems, computer hardware systems, semiconductors, business methods, e-commerce, financial systems, artificial intelligence / machine learning, and magnetic memory devices.

Engineering Experience:

A former electrical engineer, Pablo has worked for Varian Thin Film Systems, Novellus, and Sun Microsystems. His technical experience includes working with Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) sputtering equipment which produced thin films on semiconductor substrates. At Sun Microsystems, Pablo worked as a Product Engineer where he developed test procedures and performed root-cause analyses in the manufacturing of network storage devices, including network-attached storage (NAS) appliances.

Anthony Fresco

Anthony Fresco is a senior patent agent with decades of patent preparation and prosecution experiences.  He has prepared and prosecuted a countless number of patent application mostly in the mechanical arts.   

Engineering Experience:

Anthony holds an MSME and has decades of engineering experience.  He was an assistant engineer at Con Edison, held several different engineering positions related to the design of both fossil and nuclear power plants, has worked for over 20 years at Brookhaven national Laboratory, was involved with a proton accelerator (now the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC)), and was involved with various tasks related to regulatory safety issues for nuclear power plants.  Anthony is a Life Member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and was the 1986-1987 and 2012-2014 Chairman of the ASME Long Island Section.
